Getting Started with Virbox LM Evaluation

  Registration in Virbox Developer Center and download Virbox SDK. For Virbox SDK Linux/Mac Version, Please contact us.
  You can download trial SDK to evaluate Virbox Protect Functions and how to issue license to different repository; Please note, trial version SDK will only be used to trial and evaluation, pls apply to upgrade to Virbox Standard developer when evaluation and trial successful, you will get unique SDK package designed for you to official launch your software to your customer.

  Install Virbox SDK in your computer:
  Following components will be installed: Virbox Protector LM, DSProtector, Virbox Developer Utility (Local License enttitlement management tool to issue the license to Virbox Elite 5 USB dongle), Virbox User License Tools and Support documents, etc.

  License Entitlement: Product Setting:
  Create/Set software product, Sales template & License ID in Virbox Developer Center (Virbox LM Cloud) or in Virbox Developer Utility (Local License Entitlement Management tool to Virbox Elite 5 USB dongle).

  Appshileding/Code hardening:
  Protection:
  Use Virbox Protector LM to protect App: Combine set the protection option with: Obfuscation, Virtualization to critical functions, Algorithm, Code fragment (Code snippet) also be used which dramatically increased workload and makes cracking impossible; data file can be encrypted and protected; all above methods makes hacker's tools becomes invalid, include static debug tools: IDA Pro, DNSPY, Dynamic debug tools: OllyDbg, WinDbg etc.
  License Integration:
  Input License ID to integrate License logic with your application when you protect your application;
  Use Virbox Protector to protect your software, you can select different protection mode to do evaluation and test.

  License issued via Virbox Developer Center (For soft License or Cloud License Issue),
  or use Vibox Developer Utility to issue license to USB dongle (Virbox EL5)
  1) Create License ID;
  2) Create Sales Template(you can create multi sales template for different sales modes to different market segment.
  3) Issue the Cloud License or Soft License to Software User.

  Archive your protected software together with Virbox User License Tool by using software archive tools, and deliver this package to software user.

  License Enforcement in user premise
  Install this software package on the end user's computer. Depending on the licensing method assigned to you, the license will be verified as follows:
  Cloud License:
  When launching the protected software, a Virbox sign-in window will appear. Log in with your Virbox User Account to retrieve and verify the assigned license. Once verification is successful, the protected software can be executed normally.
  Soft License (Offline Environment):
  If a software-based license has been issued to your account for offline use, please contact us for detailed license activation and verification instructions.
  Hardware License (Virbox EL5 Acme):
  If you have received a Virbox EL5 USB Dongle, simply insert it into an available USB port. The system will automatically detect the dongle, verify the license stored on it, and allow the protected software to run.
  This flexible licensing mechanism enables software developers to support both online and offline deployment scenarios while ensuring secure and reliable license enforcement.
